An Abijah E. Kelly was buried in Hillside cemetery near Stephentown, Rensselaer Co., New York on May 28, 1872 age 83. Other Kelleys there include; Germin d 7-20-1886 (age 72), Sarah S. d 12-27-1896 (age 82).

A letter written by Elizabeth's sister-in-law Priscilla (Kelly) Smith, in 1836, stated Elizabeth had "a fit of palsy, and is not fit to work, though her health is pretty good".
