Captain Pedro Lucero de Godoi (from "Origins of New Mexico Families" by Fray Angelico Chavez, pp. 59,60) Born: 1600 Mexico City Married: l) by 1628 Petronila de Zamora probably the daughter ofBartolome Montoya and Maria de Zamora. 2) Francisca Gomez y Robledo. She died in the massacre of 1680. Pedro had two brothers, Diego, a secular priest and Francisco in MexicoCity. A very interesting account of the activities of Pedro Lucero deGodoi may be found in "Kiva, Cross and Crown" by John L. Kessel, pp. 184,185, 187, 188, 189, 192, 216. Pedro was Maese de Campo in 1663. Died: He died before the Pueblo Revolt of 1680.
