• Notes

  Kezia appears to be mentioned in a voting list for 1795 and 1797 as well as some tax listings in the Sudbury Town archives, with no mention of Joseph. She appears to have been widowed for some time, although I cannot truly determine whether her husband Joseph actually died in the Battle for Long Island. Some databases contain a number of children for this couple, and given the short period of time in which they were supposedly married, it does not seem probably that they had any other children save Jonas.
