    • Married in St. Nicholas church in Yarmouth, England, one of the finestbuildings in that city , founded in 1101. Came to Salem in 1632 and movedto Topsfield, Massachusetts in 1652.
      Death place not certain. Died intestate in 1672 leaving a 'small estate.'
      His estated was administered on 24:4:1673 (Apr 24 1673) and finalized onJan 17, 1682.; "Abou t Towne" Vol.XVI No.1 p15
      "When the estate of William Towne was settled on 10 Apr 1683...""Petition for settlement o f a small estate left the undersigned by theirfather, who died ten years ago leaving no will , but left his estate inthe hands of their mother who was appointed administratrix and the es tateremained unsettled until her death, and now they desire that thefollowing division may b e allowed"
