Hello! My name is Denise Fortney Allen and I am researching The Fortney
family from Boone Co. also. My great grandfather was Henry Lawrence
Fortney born on 11-8-1884 who resided in Columbia, died in 1-1974. I do
not know for sure if he was born there and I know his father went by the
name of Mort Fortney. Henry married Sally Ethel Martin.

I know there were a few Fortneys in Boone County and I was hoping you could
shed some light on Henry and his father for me. My e-mail is
dfortney@webzone.net Thank you in advance for your help.

      Denise
