    • Dennis Flander, Jr., from Montgomery County, N.Y., located at PameliaFour Corners as a farmer . He married Charity Doxstater, and they had foursons and one daughter, of who three sons sur vive, namely: William, whoresides in Boylston, Oswego County; Jeremiah A., of Ellisburgh; and Reuben W. The latter was born in Pamelia, November 2, 1841. August 20,1861, he enlisted in Co .I, 186th Regt. N.Y. Vols., and was dischargedJuly 19, 1865, by reason of the loss of the lef t arm while on picket dutyat Petersburg, Virginia. He was in the engagement at Hatcher's Run, and a lso atPetersburg. He married Sarah A., daughter of Peter Clintsman, of Wilna,and they have ha d 11 children, five of whom are now living, namely:Nettie, Nellie, Charles H., Fred L., and H arry R. Mr. Flander occupiesthe O.W. Wilmot farm, on road 39, in this town.
