  Kathleen grew up in Elkton, Rockingham Co., Virginia. She attended college and went on to become a teacher. After her marriage to Howard Jones the couple lived in Virginia and raised their daughter Ann there. After the death of her husband in 1965 Kathleen eventually relocated to Livermore, Alameda Co., California in about 1966. Kathleen joined the Senior Citizens group in Livermore and went on excursions with them to places like Alaska. She stayed involved with the church and moved to Oakdale, Ca. with her daughter Ann and son-in-law Reid Paige in about 1991. Kathleen lived to be nearly 94 years old and maintained her southern wit, charm, and pride her entire life. She will be missed.
