In Smith Paige's Will (1860) he stated William was living in Michigan City, Indiana. - He appears in the 1860 census in Michigan City, LaPorte Co., Indiana (p. 384). He stated he was a physician, age 30, . NY. He was enumerated while living in a hotel. Next enumerated individual was M.G. Sherman, a 57 year old physisian, also from New York. This individual might be the Mason Sherman a physician from St. Lawrence Co., NY on the 1850 census. - Wolcott married Louisa the next year in 1861. -
