      Received a disability discharge Company C, 14th Heavy Artillery Regiment New York on 21 March 1865 in Washington, DC .

      Milo B. Collins was tried before a committee composed of the following brothers:
      E. Kingsbury, John Jones, Thos. Jones, George Lalone,George Petrie
      For the following offenses:
      1st Obtaining goods under false pretenses from W. H. Whitney of Gouverneur.
      2nd Betting on the Montreal boat race
      3rd Failing to meet his engagement in regard to the note of G.W. Burt
      4th Crime of lying.
      The committee unaminously found him guilty on all the specifications. The committee reported that he ought to be expelled from the church - and on the same evening he was declared expelled by James A. Dickson, Pastor of the church.
      As Mr. M.B. Collins was (illegible) from the class room he threatened to whip brother Burt.
