  Historical and Genealogical Miscellany, Vol. 5 From Jeremiah Tallman , 24, the son of Dr. James Tallman , 10, and grandson of Peter Tallman , 1, born Sept. 25, 1712, and therefore a younger brother of Dr. Stephen Tallman who settled at Pumpkin Point, Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, N. J. , descends a family likewise seated in the vicinity of Shrewsbury . Jeremiah Tallman , himself, settled in Monmouth County about or soon after the arrival of Dr. Stephen Tallman . 1758, July 7. Jeremiah Tallman paid in part for his daughter's fine £3-6-6. ,Town Records, Shrewsbury, N. J. 1759. He was taxed in Shrewsbury £2-1-9 1/2. Issue Joseph Tallman married Mary Jeffrey Oliver Tallman born June 15, 1737, in Rhode Island . Daniel Tallman James Tallman Hannah Tallman born Apr. 15, 1739, in Rhode Island .
