He resided before 13 October 1713 at Marlborough, MA, Ward cites a petition dated 13 October 1713 signed by Gershom and Jonas "of Marlboro". The petition was presented to the General Court expressing desire to enter upon a new settlement of Worcester.
He was appointed to Justice of the Court of Common Pleas for the County of Worcester in 1753 at Worcester, MA.
