    • Elisha enlisted in the summer of 1776 and served in coast guard under Captain Samuel Treat. He re-enlisted in December, 1776 for 3 months underCaptain Benjamin Hine. He re-enlisted a 2nd time in 1777 and served in Captain Samuel Peck's Company, and in 1782 in Captain James Davids on'sCompany. From 1832 on he drew an annual pension of $40.00.
