  • Notes
    • Abraham requested 8 acres in Haverhill next to Joseph Whittier (Mary's brother) in about 1723.
      -
On December 10, 1741 Abraham paid taxes in Haverhill, per, "History of Haverhill, Since Settlement, in 1640", Chapter XIX 1729-1741, Page 312.
      -
An Abraham was a selectman for the town of Haverhill in 1748.
      -
Abraham, a (yeoman) farmer lived in Haverhill, Massachusetts most of his life. He later removed to Nottingham West (now Hudson), New Hampshire in about 1748. In Hudson he had a farm opposite Elmhurst, at the top of the hill, and near the junction of the old road with the present Lowell road. A cellar could still be seen on the east side of the road where Abraham's home stood, his barn was on the west side of the road.
      -
In the probate records of the province of New Hampshire (P. 317-319) we find that Abraham Page (yeoman) has granted his son Reuben Page to be the administrator of his will.
The will was granted for administration on January 31, 1753.
Along with Reuben Page (yeoman) of Haverhill the will also cites two other sons; Abraham Page (Housewright) of Nottingham West, New Hampshire and Samuel Page (yeoman) of Nottingham West, New Hampshire (our ancestor). The will had claims on it and was finally settled on February 9, 1761.

Abraham and Judith are buried in Blodgett Cemetery in Hudson, New Hampshire where their small quaint headstones can still be found. They were among the first burials there.
