  The 1900 census shows Mary as "Baby Stevens" as she was not yet named. She was living with her mother Gertrude, father Henry and 2 half siblings; Charles Ackley and Agnes Ackley. They were all living in the home of Mary's paternal grandfather Henry Mains Stevens in Corning, Tehama Co., California. - By 1910 Mary, age 10, appears with her grandmother Martha, age 71 or 74, and brother George, age 10. Mary's grandmother stated she had 13 children 6 of whom survived to 1910. - The 1920 Glenn Co., California census shows a 19 year old Mary Ann Stevens living as a boarder in the home of Clarence Pearson and his family. (Could be ours???).
