At least 2 children of Erastus and Betsy were taken by the Union cause during the Civil War, Charles C. Gleason, and Chandler J. Gleason. Both men were members of Company K, 64th Infantry Regiment, Illinois.

Erastus married CURRY, Betsy 1827, Ballston Springs, Saratoga County, New York. Betsy (daughter of COREY, Archibald and PARSOSNS, Abigail) was born Abt 1808, Bennington County, Vermont; died Aft 1880, Possibly Ogle County, Illinois. [Group Sheet]
