      His address was 1013 Mendel St., San Francisco, CA
      He was working at Miller & Lux as a laborer, and he stated his wife's name was Rose.
      His birthdate was shown as May 2, 1884, and his physical description was tall with a medium build, hazel eyes and brown hair.

      There was a report in the Oakland Tribune that a E. Aufort was charged with forging checks in Lodi, CA. (March 31, 1923, Sec. B, No. 90).

      There was a report in the Oakland Tribune that a fire was extinguished at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Edward Aufort of Lodi, CA. (Dec. 27, 1924, Sec. C, p. 9).
