Refers to research by Dennis Marr and Susan B. Naumann. "They moved from Rensselaer County, NY to Susquehanna County, PA in 1810 and then, in the winter of 1818, to Ashtabula County, OH, having travelled with Thurston and Bethany (Bailey) and family. They joined the 1st Baptist Church at Jefferson in 1820"
