"had a child, born Feb 1769.
Mother of 5 children with Brayton and 3 with Potter. " (That is Stephen Brayton and William Potter)

From the ancestral file, "The Descendants of Thomas Durfee", by Charles I. Durfee:
"Stephen Brayton was admitted as a Freeman of Portsmouth, Newport County, RI, in 1678. In 1687, he served as a member of the Grand Jury at Portsmouth.
They lived in Portsmouth, Newport County, RI. William Potter was one of the heirs of Peter Tallman who quit-claimed his interest in the estate to Jonathan Tallman on May 3, 1709.
In Tallman Ancestry the marriage date for Ann Tallman and Stephen is listed as March 5, 1678. Also the author states that " ... it also appears that on July 17, 1716 she was married to a Thomas Lee at Trinity Church, Newport, Newport County, R I".
The birth, death and marriage of William is from Gene Pool Individual Records, a database on the internet at Ancestry.com, June 2000. The information is from a medical research group studying genetics. There are numerous errors in this database and all information must be verified from other sources.
