Obituary (Missouri Valley Times, Sept 4, 1919):
Jefferson Fry, a pioneer settler of Harrison County, passed away Monday evening Sept 1, at the home of J.A. Darting on Sunnyside Ave. The funeral services will be held from the Darting home at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept 4. The remains will be interred at the Frazier cemetery.
Will of Jefferson Fry
I, Jefferson Fry of Missouri Valley, Iowa, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this as and for my last will and testament.
My will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses by by my executor hereinafter named, pad out of my estate as soon after m decease as shall by him be found convenient.
I give, devise and bequeath to my children all the property of which I die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at my decease, share and share alike.
I hereby appoint as and for the executor of this my last will and tesament, Jno. S. McGavren of Missouri Valley, Iowa.
M further will is that if any of my children shall file any claim against my estate for care and support for any other reason except, a debt contracted by me in writing with such child, that any such claim which may be allowed against my said estate shall come out of the share of any such claimant and shall not effect any share of any other of my children.
