They were in White Lake SD by1891 when Annie Jane married a fellow named Harry Thomas Bosworth. Harry was one of our early homesteaders during the boom of the 1880s. The wedding took place in "Mrs Kinsman's house" (from which I deduce that Joseph nd Elizabeth were in White Lake) and was performed by E. R Barker, whom I assume to be a protestant clergyman although I have not tracked that down. The information on their marriage comes from the marriage record in the Aurora County Courthouse in Plankinton. According to Annie Jane's youngest daughter, Esther Bosworth Hanten, who just passed away last January, (age 93 and the last survivor ofher generation) and who was my wife's grandmother, Annie Jane and her family lived in Alpena SD, ( a small town about 40 miles north of Plankinton) or the Alpena area, when Annie and Harry first met. I have not verified that however. Annie and Harry raised a large family, ten children, all of whom lived to maturity and several of whom had children of their own (and grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, etc.),so you have a number of cousins from their efforts. Harry and Annie'seldest daughter was named Elizabeth, I assume after Elizabeth Kinsman.I never knew her. Their second oldest son was named Joseph, presumably after Joseph Kinsman.(Their eldest son was named Daniel, after Harry's dad). Three of his (Joseph Bosworth's) sons still liveand farm in the White Lake-Plankinton vicinity. One of them, Allen, lives on the Harry Bosworth homestead, where Harry and Annie lived and raised their family. Most of the rest of the clan is scattered around the state and, to an extent, the country.
