Rex Blackstone of Braymer is dead.
Services for former Oil Wagon Driver are Tuesday.
Rex H. Blackstone of Braymer died at a hospital in Kansas City Saturady evening at 7:30 o'clock, following a six months illness. He had been in the Kansas City hospital for 2 months.
Funeral services under the direction of the Michael Funeral Home, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Braymer Methodist Church, conducted by Dr. George M. Hunsford. Burial will be made in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Backstone, son of Laura and Jay Blackstone, was born April 11, 1895, in Mercer County, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Rose Belle Blackstone of the home; one brother, Bruce Blackstone, Kansas City; and two sisters, Mrs. Grafton Jackson, Hamilton, and Mrs. Nora Glasscock, Richmond.
Mr. Blackstone was a tank wagon driver for the Consumer Oil Company in Braymer for twenty years.
