  SOURCE: Most of this family infromation was compiled by Joan R. Fitch. After the county took the children, a divorced Gertrude was able to adopt-back Harry who then took the last name Durett (his mother's maiden name There was a grammar school commencement announcement in the Oakland Tribune which indicated Harry Durette was going to graduate from Central grammar school, in Chico, Ca., and he was to speak. (June 18, 1924, pg. 10). Harry was a member of the CB's (Construction Batallion) in the service.
