    • In 1745 Jonathan was one of 40 soldiers from Yarmouth to be attached to the 7th Massachusetts, Regiment under Col. Shubael Gorham during the reduction at Louisburg. Jonathan appears on the Southern Tax Records list from February 1753 through 1771 and on the Fredericksburgh, Dutchess Co. list from 1772 until 1779.
