The 1900 census finds Zillah living in Lakeland Precinct, Brown Co., Nebraska with her son John and his family.
On the census she stated she was the mother of 9 children, 6 of whom were still living.
-
I have been unable to locate a reference to Bryan, Idaho, the recorded death location of Zillah (Swank) Hayter.
However threre is a Bryan, Montana along the immigrant trail enroute to Idaho. Perhaps Zillah died there... still looking for confirmation.
