  • Notes
    • Henrietta was born in Georgenthal, Germany.
She arrived in Maryland with her parents and siblings in 1852. However by 1860 the family had dispersed, and no record of the family as a unit has been found after that date.
Some of the children have been found living with other families.
There was a cholera epidemic in the mid-late 1850's, perhaps this is the reason the parents have gone missing in records after their arrival.
      -
A 12 year old Henrietta Trott was found on the 1860 census living in Frostburg District, Allegany Co., Maryland.
She was living in the home of William & Maria Border. He was 34 and Maria was 24.
      -
By 1870 Henrietta was 22, and still with the Border family. However this time the family was in Summit Township, Sommerset Co., Pennsylvania (Roll 1452, Book 1, Page 553b)
