    Notes:

    The Cooper Township, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan Census shows a 26 year old Noble as a farm laborer living with the David E. Deming family. Noble's personal property was valued at $800 and he was shown as having been born in Vermont.

    Researcher Harriet B. Colton of Sunrise, Florida prepared a family group sheet for Nobel's parents Joshua and Prudy Brundage. In the group sheet she shows Noble as enlisting as a Private on 07 March 1865 in Cooper at the age of 29 in Company D, 8th Cavalry Regiment Michigan on 13 March 1865. He fought on 27 April 1865 at Sugar Creek, TN., and Mustered out on 22 September 22,1865 in Nashville, TN.
