Obituary: "LACEY, CLYDE (POP), a resident of Hydesville, died April 4, 1972. Husband of the late Agnes LACEY who preceded him in death in 1967. He also leaves a host of friends. A native of Houston, TX, Mr. LACEY came to Humboldt Co. in 1925. He worked for the lumber industry for many years. Age 77. Friends are invited to attend services in the Chapel of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary on Friday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m., with the Reverend George Demant, of the Christ Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery, Eureka. Casket bearers will be A. F. Fitzpatrick, Ike Thayer, Jerry Townsend, Arlie Townsend, Ray Burns, Dick Carter." (Eureka newspaper)
