He stated he was born July 15, 1887 in Millbank, South Dakota.
His occupation at that time was as a traveling salesman for Remmington Typewriter, out of Portland Oregon.
His physical description was tall and slender with brown eyes and black hair.
He also stated he was married with a child.
His address at the time was 1109 Central Ave., Marshfield, Coos Co., Oregon.

By 1930 Lloyd had re-married a woman named Eva, 11 years his junior.
The family was enumerated on the 1930 census living in District 405 of Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon. Lloyd's father Thomas G. Jacobs was widowed and living with them at age 70.
Lloyd stated he was selling cash registers at that time.
