      Mr. and Mrs G W Jones (formerly Nannie Fortney) and daughters Dorothy and Bulah, of Tulsa, Okla., toured in last Saturday to visit Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Griffin and other relatives.

      News of the death on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at her home in Tulsa, Okla., of Mrs. Nannie L. Jones, 55, who was Nannie Leathy Fortney, formerly of this vicinity, was learned here Tuesday. Funeral services, conducted gy the Reverend Hathoway, weld at 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist church in West Tulsa. Burial was made in Memorial Park. Surviving are her husband, George W. Jones, four daughters, Mrs. Edith Allen, Seminole, Okla., Mrs. Edna Durbin, Collinsville, and Dorothy and Beulah at home, and one son, Kenneth Jones, of Tulsa.
      Mrs. Jones has been in failing health for some time. When her brother, Henry Fortney, also a native and former resident of this section, died Sept. 3 last, she was transported to his funeral in an ambulance, being unable to sit up. Eights afterward, she followed him in death.
